Sydney Kings Next Star Makur Maker will make his way to the NBA for the coming season, with reports indicating the young big has signed with the Washington Wizards.

The Washington Post is reporting that Maker has signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Wizards, with the expectation he will participate in their upcoming training camp next month and then join the Capital City Go-Go, Washington's G League team for the season.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary deal that can be converted into a two-way contract before the regular season starts.

The 21-year-old Maker joined Sydney last season, suiting up in 21 games and playing a key role down the stretch during the Kings' run to the championship.

Following the NBL season, Maker joined the Chicago Bulls at NBA Summer League impressing those in attendance with his growth.
