Sydney Kings' Jackson Makoi will be taking his talents to Queensland during the off-season, after signing on with the Northside Wizards for the 2024 NBL1 North campaign.
The Hoops Capital guard is excited to play with the Wizards, as he continues his progression back from a knee injury - which kept him out for the majority of the NBL24 season.
“I’m excited to join the Wizards with great players and quality staff,” Makoi said to Wizards Media.
“I can’t wait to get to work and have a great season.”

While in Queensland, the South Sudanese international will play for newly appointed Wizards coach and current Brisbane Bullets assistant Darryl McDonald - who is thrilled to have the young King on his roster.
“Jackson is going to be an exciting addition to the Wizards this season,” McDonald said.
“He showed enormous potential with the Kings in the 2022-23 season and he is ready to go to the next level for us leading into the next NBL season.”
