He may have missed the end of the Sydney Kings' NBL25 campaign, but forward Keli Leaupepe is well and truly making up for lost time on the court.
Since his return in April, King #249 Leaupepe has been shining for both the Knox Raiders in the NBL1 South competition and the Australian Boomers - during their recent Trans-Tasman Throwdown series win over New Zealand.
"The body’s feeling good," the Loyola Marymount University alum said.

"I’ve got a great team behind me, both at the Kings and at Knox, who’ve helped me come back feeling healthier and stronger on the court.
"[In terms of the games] I’m okay with how I’ve performed so far.
" After every game, I reflect on what I can improve or want to work on, but we’re sitting at the top of the ladder right now, so I can’t complain."

Looking ahead, Leaupepe and his Raiders next take on Geelong United on Friday night at the State Basketball Centre.
"I’m really enjoying being back home and playing for a club that operates at a high level," he said.
"I’ve got the resources to keep improving, great people surround me, and we’re winning — so I’m definitely content."
