The Sydney Kings will turn back the clock and honour the club's 1996 team during the NBL's Heritage Round.
The design, worn by the likes of Isaac Burton, Bruce Bolden and Brad Rosen, signified a new era of Kings basketball ahead of the 1996 season - headlined by the first time the club's uniforms weren't white, purple or gold.
Fast forward to the present ahead of the NBL25 season, the Hoops Capital club went through a revamp of its own by hiring the legendary Brian Goorjian as coach, as well as bringing in key recruits Xavier Cooks, Bul Kuol and Cam Oliver, among others.

"The 1996 Kings uniform is arguably one of the team's most iconic looks with its bold alternating pinstripes and striking asymmetrical side panel," said Hoops Capital's design lead Za Rathie.
"While the 90s aren’t known as the Kings' most successful era, the work of the players and organisation laid the foundations for the club's success only a few years later - during Goorj’s first stint with the team.
"This time around, Goorj has been able to inherit the Kings' recent success and momentum - hopefully to lead the team to another championship era."
Rathie is confident this throwback uniform will resonate with the Hoops Capital club's fans.
"This Heritage Round uniform is a mix of the old and the new - a common theme throughout the Kings' different looks this year," Rathie said.
"Young fans and even players weren’t alive to see these uniforms originally on the court, it’s an opportunity to provide these black uniforms with a second life.
"These uniforms embrace the club's foundations and allow the players to carve out a new, exciting future for the Sydney Kings and their supporters."
