King #203 Kickert won two NBL championships with the Kings as an assistant coach.
“Daniel has been a key member of our coaching staff over the past four seasons and has been instrumental in the shift of the club’s cultural makeup and team success,” Kings CEO Chris Pongrass said.
“We are sad to lose Kicks, and we recognise and support his ambitions for new opportunities for him and his family.
“An elite developer of talent, a leader and an experienced basketball mind, we want nothing but the best for him.
“The Sydney Kings and its fans and members owe a great deal of thanks to Daniel, Erica and the entire Kickert family.”
