Now that the dust has well and truly settled on the 2024-25 season, the Sydney Kings have quickly shifted their focus to the NBL26 campaign and chasing the club's sixth championship banner.
A key driver last off-season was building continuity in the playing group year-on-year.
Kings fans should be thrilled that heading into this off-season, a significant portion of the squad is already assembled – Xavier Cooks, Bul Kuol, Kouat Noi, Jaylin Galloway, Shaun Bruce, Keli Leaupepe, Tyler Robertson, Jason Sprugin and Klairus Amir are all set to return.
Head coach Brian Goorjian will once again lead the charge alongside newly appointed assistant Andrew Bogut, and returning assistants Billy Tomlinson and Shaun Roger.

Kings CEO Chris Pongrass believes the Hoops Capital club is in a strong position heading into next month's free agency and the off-season at large.
“Coming into last year, we had seismic change - coaching, support staff and the entire roster all had a major overhaul,” Pongrass said.
“This season, it is comforting knowing we have so many returning players and staff; continuity and stability are important aspects in building a championship contender - these things take time.
“We recognise areas of our roster build that require change for next season, however, we don’t see these as major changes, more meaningful tweaks.
“We believe in the group we have already assembled and understand the skillsets we are lacking in order to get the best out of them.
“We see ourselves as being a fast-paced, defensive-minded team.

“These two characteristics were critical to our past success and have proven to fit the identities of successful teams across the league year-in and year-out – look at both of the teams playing in the Championship Series right now.
“Being bullish to start free agency is often how I like to approach it.
“This year it’s a little different for us, noting that we are only looking for three/four new players to chase. Kings fans need not worry why there isn’t a flurry of announcements, as our core local contingent is in place, and we are focused on getting the balance of new players right.
“An exciting time for the club, I am confident in what we are building for NBL26”.
