Kings quartet claim silverware at NBL25 awards

Sydney Kings quartet Xavier Cooks, Kouat Noi, Alex Toohey and Tyler Robertson have all been recognised for their achievements during the NBL25 season, at Monday's end-of-season gala evening.
King #217 Xavier Cooks was named in the All-NBL Second Team alongside Brisbane's Casey Prather, Melbourne's Chris Goulding (Melbourne United), Adelaide's Montrezl Harrell and Illawarra's Sam Froling.
While Kouat Noi (69 votes) took home the Sixth Man of the Year award, edging out Melbourne's Ian Clark (39) and Illawarra's William Hickey (37) for the prize.

Sydney's NBL Next Star Alex Toohey (46 votes) was crowned the competition's Next Gen Award presented by Champion, ahead of Perth's Ben Henshall (40) and Cairns' Taran Armstrong (38).
The final Hoops Capital star to claim silverware was young gun Tyler Robertson, who took home the Three-Pointer of the Year presented by Mitsubishi Motors Australia prize, for his long-range effort against Melbourne United.
Other major award winners of the night were Perth's Bryce Cotton (MVP and Fans’ MVP presented by Chemist Warehouse), Illawarra's Justin Tatum (Coach of the Year), Brisbane's Tyrrell Harrison (Most Improved Player presented by AAMI), Melbourne's Shea Ili (Damian Martin Trophy for the Best Defensive Player), Tasmania's Majok Deng (Gametime by Kmart Award), Brisbane's Malcolm Watts (Executive of the Year) and Vaughan Mayberry (Referee of the Year presented by Europcar) - with the All-NBL First Team compromising of Cotton, Adelaide's Kendric Davis, South East Melbourne's Matt Hurt and Illawarra duo Trey Kell III and Tyler Harvey.
The Hoops Capital side will take on Adelaide on Thursday, in a sudden-death play-in game at Qudos Bank Arena - with tickets available here.
