Our Kings had a busy weekend with their NBL1 teams, many putting up strong performances.
Over in the South, Dejan Vasiljevic played back-to-back games for Diamond Valley. Starting off with Knox Raiders on Saturday night DJ dropped 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists as his side wnt down by just five points. Vasiljevic continued his strong form against the Geelong Supercats, putting up 18 points, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win for his team.

Just 24 hours later, Hunter returned to the court to deliver 13 points. 7 rebounds, and two assists, although despite his strong efforts, went down to the Southwest Metros.
Teammates Biwali Bayles and Jaylin Galloway also had a great performance on the weekend with their team, the Mackay Meteors. Bayles recorded a triple double _ 10 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists. Galloway put up 24 points, 4 rebounds, and two assists to lead Mackay victory over Townsville.
