Kings look to continue imposing road record at Phoenix

Fresh off a win in Wollongong on Friday, the league-leading Sydney Kings will head to Victoria in search of victory number 12 of the NBL23 season.
Standing in their way are the fourth-placed South East Melbourne Phoenix, who are licking their wounds from Thursday's 'Throwdown' defeat.
Despite the differing fortunes lately, Kings guard Derrick Walton Jr expects nothing but a stern test at Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium - as Sydney looks to secure their 20th road win from its past 21 fixtures.

"I treat every single game the same, going out there trying to impose my will and doing whatever I can to help my team win," said Walton, who is averaging 15.4 points, 6.33 assists and 4.07 rebounds per contest.
"We've been good on the road so far this year, as our group understands the adversity at hand and embracing that villain role with the home fans.
"We'll be looking to continue that against a tough Phoenix side on Sunday, which will set us up nicely for our upcoming home matches."

The former NBA point guard with the Detroit Pistons has really come into his own in the past few contests, which he puts down to being more comfortable playing in this competition.
"I now realise how teams are trying to guard me and take me out of the games," the Michigan Wolverines alum said.
"I'm now trying to be more proactive and let my instincts and ability take over.
"While the past few games have been good, there's definitely another level I can take my game to, which I hope to show in the coming weeks."
Sunday's round 11 fixture tips off at 2pm AEDT and will be broadcast on Fox Sports 506 via Kayo Sports and Foxtel, as well as 10 Peach.
