The Sydney Kings officially cemented a top-two spot on the NBL23 ladder on Sunday, after defeating South East Melbourne at Qudos Bank Arena.
That victory, which moves the Hoops Capital side to 19-7, along with other results from round 17, will see Sydney and Cairns occupy to all-important top two spots heading into the post-season.
This positioning is vital as it guarantees Chase Buford's side a spot in the NBL23 semi-finals, where they'll play one of the winners from the competition's play-in series.

"It's been an extraordinary season for the whole organisation and these home finals matches are a reward for everyone's hard work," Kings CEO Chris Pongrass said.
"We've experienced record crowds this season, especially since our historic Christmas night game, and we can't wait to add to that over the coming weeks with all our loyal members and fans.
"They've all been vital in helping us finish on top of the ladder and will be just as crucial as we attempt to go back-to-back and win our club's fifth NBL championship."
Following Friday's match at Adelaide and Sunday's game at Perth, the reigning champions' semi-final series is slated to run from February 15-20 (TBC) - with the harbour city side locked in to host series two in the Hungry Jack's NBL Finals Series, taking on the winner of the sudden death play-in game.
To ensure you don't miss any of the action at Qudos Bank Arena, from 9am, Sunday, February 5, full-season members will first be offered the chance to purchase their same seats (with this pre-sale ending at 7am Tuesday, February 7).
Then from 11am on February 7, all Kings members including partial season members will be able to purchase all other remaining tickets.
From 4pm Tuesday, February 7, the general public will be able to access the remaining tickets for the Kings' finals charge.
