The Brydens Lawyers Sydney Kings are pleased to announce they have locked down exciting young-gun Jaylin Galloway on a multi-year deal.
Coming off-the-back of an impressive FIBA U19 World Cup campaign for the Emu’s, Galloway will remain as a Development Player for the Kings in NBL22 and move into a contracted roster spot for the following two seasons (third year Club option).

Kings CEO Chris Pongrass is thrilled to have locked down another up-and-coming talent as the Kings continue building for this season and beyond.
“Jaylin is an impressive young talent that we are lucky to keep in our program. Following on from a stint as a Development Player with us last season, we are looking forward to his contribution to this team and to continuing his development in the long-term” Pongrass said.
“He is full of confidence, and that was evident in the minutes he saw last season. Coming into this league as an eighteen-year old is not easy, and Jaylin is comfortable going head to head with the best of them. Depth and continuity are things we hope to maintain year-to-year and this signing hits both of those. We are excited to have him back with us” he added.
After returning to Australia last year from the US, Galloway spent his first year back in Australia between the Centre of Excellence in Canberra, and playing for the Kings.
A season that was riddled with injuries for the Kings playing group allowed for more opportunity for Galloway, which he seized with both hands. He played eight games for the purple and gold in his debut NBL season, providing a reliable spark of the bench both defensively and at the offensive end.
In his most recent campaign for the Emu’s, he averaged 10 points and 2 rebounds per game, including a tournament high 14 points when he helped lead the Aussie’s to a win over Turkey alongside fellow King Biwali Bayles.
Galloway is looking forward to remaining with the Kings.
“I’m really excited to be staying in Sydney” Galloway shared.
“I enjoyed playing with the guys we had last season, and with Chase also coming in now, I’m looking forward to continuing my development under him” he added.
Galloway joins Xavier Cooks, Tom Vodanovich, Jarell Martin, Jordan Hunter, Shaun Bruce, Dejan Vasiljevic, Angus Glover, Wani Swaka Lo Buluk and Biwali Bayles as contracted players for next season.
