Kings duo headline Boomers squad for Trans-Tasman Throwdown

Sydney Kings duo Xavier Cooks and Keli Leaupepe will headline the Australian Boomers squad during their Trans-Tasman Throwdown series with New Zealand next month.
The inaugural series, which will run from May 7-11, will see the Boomers, as well as the Opals, take on their New Zealand counterparts in fixtures in Adelaide, the Sunshine Coast, and Hamilton.

Joining the Hoops Capital pair in the green and gold squad are South East Melbourne's Angus Glover and Owen Foxwell, Melbourne United's Kyle Bown, Illawarra's Todd Blanchfield, Adelaide's Dejan Daviljevic, Perth's Elijah Pepper, Brisbane's Mitch Norton, University of Wisconsin's Austin Rapp, Saint Mary's Harry Wessels and current Centre of Excellence player and University of Conneticut commit Jacob Furphy.
The three fixtures will be played on May 7 (Adelaide), May 9 (Sunshine Coast) and Hamilton (May 11).
