Fresh off their opening two wins of the season against Illawarra and Brisbane, Sydney will be out for their own slice of history on Sunday.
After equalling the Canberra Cannons' mark of 13 straight NBL road wins (set across the 1984 and 1985 seasons) against the Hawks, Chase Buford's Hoops Capital side will be out to break the record when they take on fierce rivals Melbourne United at the John Cain Arena.

"A record like this is obviously great for the club and shows success over a long period of time but if I'm being honest, it's just another game in which we have the chance to get better as a group," Buford said.
"We've made strides as a group in both our opening wins, especially defensively but there is still a long way to go for us to get where we want to - so a game like this against Melbourne is one we're all looking forward to.

"Not only that, this group is completely different to last year when 12 of these wins were recorded, so we're just trying to concentrate on what we can achieve as a team in NBL23, rather than looking too far back."
The round two fixture, tipping off at 4pm AEDT, will be live on ESPN via Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
