On the back of his best NBL season to date, Sydney Kings' Jordi Hunter has signed a short-term deal with Latvian outfit, Rigas Zelli.
Sydney junior Hunter, who averaged 10.3 points and seven rebounds while shooting 60 per cent from the field this season, is set to make his club debut this weekend when his Rigas Zelli side takes on Rapla in Cesis.

Speaking about the signing, Rigas Zelli club president Edgars Buls is excited to add Hunter, who just made his Boomers debut, to his squad.
"In almost all the games of the new year we have lost the battle for balls, which greatly reduces our chances of victory," Buls said in a club statement.

"We believe that Hunter - together with Martins Meier - will be able to hold the bottom of the basket with dignity and also hunt some dots in the attack."
