Hoops Capital stars to take part in NBL1 East's Blitz

A number of Hoops Capital stars will be taking part in the 2025 NBL1 East Blitz this weekend at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre.
HOOPS CAPITAL'S OFF-SEASON NEWS HUB
From a Sydney Kings perspective, the Sutherland Sharks, featuring Jason Spurgin and coached by Shaun Roger, will take on reigning champions Maitland from 5.30pm Saturday before playing Central Coast - headlined by Klairus Amir - at 3.30pm Sunday.
Before that Sunday fixture, Amir's Crusaders will face Illawarra from 5pm on Saturday.
While on the Flames side, Norths, containing young guns Carla Pitman and Caitlyn Martin as well as Renae Garlepp as coach, play fixtures against Hills (11am Saturday) and Illawarra (11am Sunday).
The other harbour city talents in action will be Flame #147 Tahlia Tupaea and Flame #230 Piper Anderson, who's Innet West Bulls and Sydney Comets face one another at 11.30am on Saturday.
Then on Sunday, Tupaea's Bulls lock horns with Bankstown at 9am and Anderson's Comets line up against Canberra from 9.30am.
