In association with the Sydney Kings and Flames, Hoops Capital can announce the establishment of its very own Youth League competition - a basketball league for young players eager to enhance their skills through quality coaching, elite competition and state-of-the-art facilities.
The Youth League is set to be hosted at Sydney’s premium basketball venue, Hoops Capital East - a modern facility frequently used by the harbour city's two professional basketball teams, the Kings and Flames, as a training facility.
The venue, located in Moore Park with close proximity to public transport and free two-hour parking, is the designated venue for all training and games.

“Hoops Capital is excited to announce the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames Youth League as a form of local basketball competition available to those in Sydney’s east”, says Hoops Capital Executive Paul Kind.
“We aim to build an exemplary basketball league and environment for the youth to enjoy and learn from”.
The Youth League offers competitions for age groups from under 8s all the way up to under 18s in both boys and girls (as well as co-gender under 8/10s competitions) - with multiple divisions in each to ensure an enjoyable playing experience.
Teams will compete in four separate competitions each year, aligned with school terms.
The Youth League allows you to create and register your own team or join an existing one.
A team can either bring their own coach or if no one is up to the task, a trained expert in the field of youth coaching will be provided.
"By fostering a social and competitive team environment, Youth League looks to elevate the grassroots basketball experience beyond what is currently available," Kind said.
"Not only that, it will help satisfy the growing demand for basketball courts in Sydney, as the rapid growth of interest in playing organised basketball has created a city-wide shortage of available courts, with many teams missing out entirely due to this demand.
"We hope that offering our facilities to accommodate more teams and players, will help with this shortage while simultaneously providing an elite playing experience."

Additionally, complimentary tickets to Kings’ and Flames’ home games are available as free off-court benefits for those involved in the Youth League.
Players from these teams are also available for ‘meet and greets’ throughout the season as we aim to establish a connection between professional teams and grassroots competitions.
A further optional benefit of playing in the Youth League is the opportunity to join our academy program, which offers additional skills clinics both during the school term and during the school holidays.
