The Sydney Kings' hopes of a potential three-peat have been bolstered by the re-signing of Championship Series hero Angus Glover on a new two-year extension.
This will keep the Wollongong product in Sydney until at least the end of NBL25, which Glover admits was always his preference heading into the off-season.
"It [re-signing] was a pretty easy decision to make really," Glover said.

"To win back-to-back championships and to see the vision the club has going forward, why wouldn’t I want to be a part of it."
To date, the 24-year-old has spent three seasons with the purple and gold - two of which have ended in championships under Chase Buford.
"I loved running it back with the Kings this season," the Australian Boomer said.
"I think one of the most enjoyable parts of being on this team was the fact that we all celebrated everyone else’s success throughout the year.
"It’s easy to let things like that slip when we had the year we had being up the top of the ladder all season but we just enjoyed coming to training every day and putting in the work.
"We had a mindset of 'winning last year was great but let’s move on and go chase another'."

Few could argue that the NBL23 season was his best to date for the Hoops Capital club - largely due to his continued growth on the hardwood.
"The coaches work extremely hard on scouting and games but also they put a lot of time into us as individuals," said Glover, who labelled the harbour city side his 'home'.
"The coaches put in work with me every day before team training during our 'vitamin' work.
"We worked on things I had to get better at but also my strengths and making sure I use my strengths.
"The playing group made me better in multiple different ways but the one that stands out to me is the way we competed against each other every day on the court.
"Winning every scrimmage or drill meant so much to everyone which just made our training sessions go to another level."
Before Glover and his teammates, which include the re-signed Jaylin Galloway, Dejan Vasiljevic, Jordi Hunter and Shaun Bruce, attempt to run it back once more, the guard will ply his trade in NBL1 South with Eltham - to prepare him for an even bigger NBL24.
"I’ll play NBL1 with the [Eltham] Wildcats in Victoria and continue to get better and be in great shape for the start of NBL pre-season," he said.
"Apart from winning another title, I honestly think winning the NBL's most improved award is an achievable goal for me."

Kings CEO Chris Pongrass is ecstatic to welcome another key piece back to the club, as Sydney chases its second-ever three-peat.
"Angus showed everyone towards the back end of the season and especially during the finals, how special of a talent he is," Pongrass said.
"He was crucial in helping us go back-to-back and getting him to re-sign was a priority for the club, as we know how bright his future is.
"He's gone through plenty of adversity in his young career but through hard work and dedication, he has come out the other side a better player.
“Angus is one of the leaders of this group - we're so proud to call him one of our own for another two seasons."
