Goorjian's Kings keen to rebound against Sixers

Brian Goorjian and his Sydney Kings are hoping for a quick turnaround when they host the Adelaide 36ers on Monday, December 30.
This round 14 fixture, which will be the second game of Hoops Capital's double-header at Qudos Bank Arena, looms as a key one for the harbour city side.
"While there were some positives during Wednesday's match, we still haven’t got over the hump and we've been exposed when we play them (Illawarra), so it’s back to the drawing board for us this week," Goorjian said.

"We've had a good review together as a group and had some productive time on the practice court, as everyone is keen to get back in the winner's circle.
"Our performances on the road have put us in a good position on the ladder but we now have to take care of home court, especially if we want to get back into that top two."
While the 36ers got the better of Sydney in their previous match-up in Adelaide on October 11, Goorjian's team has grown a lot since then but is always wary of a struggling Sixers outfit, who have lost six of their past seven fixtures.
"The Sixers are a dangerous team, with plenty of weapons, especially in the big man department," he said.
"It's important we win the rebound count and limit the impact of their three bigs [Montrezl Harrell, Isaac Humphries and Jarell Martin]."
