Sydney Kings coach Brian Goorjian said his team are embracing the fight for a top-two spot on the ladder, as the competition enters its penultimate round.
With two games remaining, Sunday, February 2 versus Perth at Qudos Bank Arena and Friday, February 7 versus Illawarra at the WIN Entertainment Centre, the Hoops Capital side sit in third with a 16-11, just one win behind leaders Illawarra and Melbourne.

With the Wildcats (15-11) hot on their tails in fifth spot, Goorjian knows how vital Sunday's blockbuster is.
"We know we're fighting for as high of a spot on the ladder as we can get because there's a huge difference between second and all the way down to fifth," the six-time NBL champion said in an interview with SEN this week.
"These last two games will determine where we finish and we know our own fate is in our own hands.
"We've been training our tails off this week to ensure we're ready on Sunday for Perth because we know any of the teams left in this thing can win it - so it's up to us to prove it."
Tickets to the Kings' clash with Perth on Sunday, February 2 at Qudos Bank Arena, with tickets still available here.
