With the NBL24 season fast approaching, Kings Media sat down and quizzed their players and staff - to allow the members and fans to get to know their Sydney stars a little more.
After first chatting with wing Angus Glover, they spoke with assistant coach Fleur McIntyre.
Name: Fleur McIntyre
Nickname: Fleury Mac, and random ones assigned at the Kings which are very average.
Favourite meal: Anything Asian cuisine.
All-time favourite movie: Stand By Me.
Song that you're loving right now: Rotation of Tina Turner songs in tribute to her.
Bucket list travel destination: Cuba.
Most unusual travel location you have been to or attended: St Petersburg, Russia.
Who is your idol: In terms of basketball, I loved Penny Taylor and Scottie Pippen.
What shoes are you coaching in right now: ASICS Gel Nimbus.
What would you do if you were Prime Minister for a day: Give everyone a public holiday. And invest far more dollars into healthcare, research and resources for our elderly population, as well as the prevention of violence against women.
What item you’d bring with you if you were stranded on a desert island: Probably a knife for practicality but realistically, I would need coffee and my Aeropress simply to cope
Biggest pest on team: I can't choose just one - for different reasons, my top three: Iggy Mitchell, Shaun Bruce and Jordi Hunter.
Best moment as a King: The first championship with the greatest group of humans and then being able to go win again with the gang ??
If there are any questions you'd like Kings Media to ask our players and staff, please send them to info@sydneykings.com.au.
