Sydney Kings' Zac Gattorna wrapped up his impressive NBL1 season with Geraldton at the weekend's national finals in Perth.
The Buccaneers, who took out the NBL1 West decider recently, opened their finals campaign with a 98-76 win against Sutherland, in which the forward added 25 points, 13 rebounds, two blocks one assist and one steal.
They followed this up with a commanding 120-91 victory over Ipswich, who were without the services of fellow King Jaylin Galloway.
In the triumph, Gattorna tallied 25 points, nine points, four dimes and two steals.
Unfortunately, despite these two wins, Gattorna's side missed out on qualifying for the grand final on percentage - which was eventually won by Knox over Rockingham 90-85.
