Game day guide: Playoff Semi-Final game one vs Cairns

Fresh off securing the regular season championship, the Sydney Kings will start their NBL23 Finals tilt on Wednesday night, when they host rival Cairns in game one of their Playoff Semi-Final series.

The latter come into the best of three-game series on the back of a gutsy sudden-death victory against Perth on Sunday in Cairns.

While the reigning champions enjoyed a week off - a time which saw star forward Xavier Cooks crowned the NBL23 Andrew Gaze MVP.

Wednesday, February 15 - door open times:

• Corporate 5.30pm.
• Members: 5.45pm.
• General public: 6.00pm.
• Kings lights out:  7.18pm.
• Xavier Cooks MVP presentation: 7.24pm.
• Kings tip-off: 7.30pm.

Important things to note

• The members entry will be open tomorrow night
• Your membership card will not provide you with access to the venue. You should remember to bring your ticket for entry and a reminder that you will need  membership cards to obtain your discount on food and beverages in the venue.
• No there will be no post-game player appearances due to quick turnaround of games during this best-of-three semi final playoff series

• DJ Klasik and a face-painter will be in the main Qudos Bank Arena foyer from 6-7.15pm .
• Members Bar will again be open pre-game
• The Qudos Bank Lounge (located on Level 1 opposite door 29) will also be open to Kings and Flames members pre-game.
• SEN will be broadcasting the game live (featuring Jimmy Smith and Lucas Walker) from 7-10pm (including a post-game wrap), which can be accessed via the SEN app.

Special pre-game performance by L-Fresh The Lion

Born and raised in South West Sydney, L-Fresh The Lion is one of Australia's most important Hip Hop artists. From live music venues, stadiums and arenas, to the United Nations Headquarters in New York, his music is a powerful statement which speaks of purpose.

Things to know before you arrive

• Members will be required to bring their membership card to use at the members’ entrance (if you are unable to locate your membership card or have any issues, our membership team who will be located at the box office pre-game will be able to assist with any membership-related queries).
• Please minimise the size of bags you bring to the arena – no backpacks or bags over A5 (200 mm x 150 mm) sizing will be permitted into the venue.

• Fans are encouraged to use public transport on the day as spots will be limited in P1.
• Note, pre-booked car parking is only available up to 11.59pm on the day prior to the game and not on game day.

Food and beverages:

• Multiple food and beverage outlets will be open throughout the venue. 
• The Platinum Plus Bar will be open for Platinum Plus members and ticket holders. Platinum Plus members and ticket holders will be provided with a wristband when you arrive at your seat. This will give you access to the Platinum Plus Bar.
• Members Bar will again be open pre-game and post-game.
• The Qudos Bank Lounge (located on Level 1 opposite door 259) will also be open to Kings and Flames members pre-game.

• Kings merchandise is available for purchase inside the grand foyer as you enter Qudos Bank Arena. You can also head to shop.sydneykings.com.au to purchase merchandise online. 

Lost membership cards and membership Inquiries

• If you are unable to locate your membership card or have any issues, our membership team who will be located at the Box Office pre-game will be able to assist with any membership-related queries.

• Don’t forget to scan your membership card at our internal outlets to redeem your member discount on food, beverages and merchandise.
• If you don't yet have your membership card you can visit the Membership Inquiries window to pick up a temporary membership card.
