The Sydney Kings will look to end a two-game skid on Thursday when they travel to Adelaide to take on the 36ers.
Despite the two home losses, young gun Jaylin Galloway is confident his side has learnt from the results and is ready to bounce back to form.
"Our defensive lapses and not being able to shut teams down for the whole game [have let us down recently]," said Galloway, whose side won the only meeting between the two sides in round two.
"When that happens, we seem to also struggle to score - defence creates offence.
"[As such, a point of focus at training has been] a more consistent effort from everyone for the whole game."

The Adelaide Arena fixture will pit Galloway and his outfit against championship-winning teammate Dejan Vasiljevic for the first time.
And while slowing him will be a focus, it isn't the whole game plan.
"It will be good to see DJ but we have a job to do which is to come out of Adelaide with the W - so our main focus will be to shut him down," said King #223, who will come up against his older brother Kyrin in the contest.
"The match will be won on the defensive end and getting stops against their scorers.
"Not allowing second-chance points and winning the rebounds will also be key as well as limiting our turnovers."
Thursday's fixture tips off at 7.30pm AEDT and will be broadcast on ESPN via Kayo Sports.
