It was another big week for our Sydney Kings boys in the NBL1 North.
Biwali Bayles and Jaylin Galloway played three back-to-back games, the Mackay Meteors falling short in their first game against the Ipswich Force with Galloway scoring nine points, seven rebounds, and three assists, while Bayles put up eight points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
Although things started looking better for our Kings in their second game of the week against the Red City Roar with a seven point win. Galloway delivered 23 points and four rebounds and Bayles had 14 points, six rebounds and seven assists. On the other team, their Kigs team-maye Jayden Hodgson scored 23 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
During the last game of the week, the Mackay Meteors put up another win against the Southwest Metro Pirates. Galloway continued his amazing performances putting up 25 points, three rebounds and one assist, and while Bayles had just the two points but six rebounds and eight assists.
Over in the South, DJ Vasiljevic played in an exhibition game for his NBL1 team, the Diamond Valley Eagles against the Indonesian national team. In an incredible shooting display DJ put up 41 points, 6 rebounds, and five assists.
In New Zealand, Xavier Cooks had a great game on the weekend and led his team to another win. Cooks delivered 24 points, 24 rebounds, and one assist.
