Kings fans will only get one chance to watch Mitch McCarron, Kai Sotto and the Adelaide 36ers at home this season.
The last time the Kings played Adelaide, it was a classic. A three-pointer from Jaylen Adams sealed the win and not only pushed Adams into the MVP conversation but it also started the momentum of the Kings’ dominant 10-game win streak.

The 36ers have a young star in the making with Kai Sotto, the Philippines national team player has shown glimpses of stardom in his first NBL season. The 7’2 19-year-old is a difficult player to guard given his size and skill.

Kai Sotto came into the NBL with serious credentials, he was a four-star college recruit and was set to join the NBA G League Ignite team before joining the 36ers.
For the season so far, Sotto is averaging 6.3 points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game, he’s scored over 10 points five times this season as a bench spark plug.
The Kings play the 36ers this weekend on Saturday, April 9 at 8 pm, so it will be a great appetiser for our second last home game of the season against Adelaide on Sunday, April 17 at Qudos Bank Arena

But the Kings also have their own young centre, Makur Maker. He will match-up against Sotto and the two young centres will battle it out as they both try to make it to the NBA.
The Kings will have to watch out for championship point guard Mitch McCarron and Daniel Johnson. Johnson is an NBL stalwart, scoring over 15 points per game for seven seasons straight and McCarron is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league – Jaylen Adams has a great test ahead of him.
