Draw revealed for Sydney's South Sudanese Bright Stars

The draw for the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket, which features the South Sudanese Bright Stars, has been revealed.
The Bright Stars, which have featured Kings duo Bul Kuol and Kouat Noi in the past, were drawn against Angola, Guinea and Libya in Group C , during this month's draw in Luanda, Angola.
Elsewhere, Cote d’Ivoire, Cape Verde, DR Congo and Rwanda are in Group A, Tunisia, Nigeria, Cameroon and Madagascar in Group B and Senegal, Egypt, Mali and Uganda in Group D.

"This tournament is not just a competition, but a celebration of African basketball excellence and our continued growth on the global stage," FIBA Africa President Anibal Manave said.
This year's tournament in Angola, marking the fourth time they've hosted the event, will tip-off with the group phase from August 12-17, before the final phase will take place exclusively in Luanda from August 17-24.
