Star guard Dejan Vasiljevic has called on Kings fans to make the most of a unique double header with the Flames at Qudos Bank Arena this weekend.
On Sunday the Kings and Flames have a double header, with the Kings playing the Brisbane Bullets first before the Flames follow in their WNBL clash against the Perth Lynx.
The mantra of ‘Two teams, One club’ is represented best by our double headers, both teams playing on the same court in front of the same fans.
In our past double headers this season, the Flames have played first. But this Sunday will be our first game where the Kings play first.

'DJ' is a big fan of the Flames and said there were plenty of reasons why Kings fans should sit tight for the second match of the day with the Flames.
“They are young like us, they have talent and they are up-and-coming obviously a couple of them will be future Opals,” he said.
“It’s all about 'Two teams, One club'. They always come to support us, and we support them so all the fans should stay and watch. The Flames have a lot of talent, they are very young and they are very good.”
Co-captain of the Flames Keely Froling said this double header means a lot to the Flames, plahying in front of a big crowd.
“I think it will be huge,” she said.
“The fans add a whole other element and it’s like having an extra player out there on the floor. For Kings fans to come and stay would be really cool. It will be good for the Kings boys to watch us too, hopefully, we can get the win.”
The Kings will start our double header at 1pm against the Brisbane Bullets and the Flames will tip off at 3.30pm against the Perth Lynx on Sunday at Qudos Bank Arena. Get your tickets here.
