Merry (early) Christmas Kings fans, basketball is back!
Yep, you read that right, basketball is back at Qudos Bank Arena this December just in time for the Christmas festivities to kick in.
The Kings will be hosting a pre-season game against the Hawks at 2:50pm on Sunday December 20 in the lead up to the NBL21 season which is scheduled to tip off in January.

This will be the first NSW-clash of the NBL21 season, and the first time the Kings go up against their former Head Coach Brian Goorjian.
The game will provide an opportunity for members to get familiar with seating arrangements at Qudos Bank Arena (affected by NBL COVID-safe protocols), and will give you the chance to check out some of our new players before they hit the court for the regular season.
Due to NSW Health regulations the total crowd capacity will be limited to 4,300 spread out across the arena to ensure social distancing. NBL COVID-safe procedures will also be in place which include seating regulations and conditions of entry.
We’ll provide more details about these procedures for the game in the coming weeks as we finalise details with the venue. Regular season seating details will be communicated in January as we await potential further easing of restrictions by the NSW government.
As per NBL COVID-safe procedures, unfortunately no post-game player signings or meet and greet opportunities will be available with the team as has previously been the case with Kings pre-season games.
Kings members and corporate partners will have first access to tickets, inclusive of a discount, via a members-only pre-sale. This pre-sale will start at 4pm next Tuesday 8th December. In the event that members and corporate partners do not purchase all tickets, any limited remaining tickets will be made available for purchase via a general public on-sale from 12 noon, Wednesday 9th December.
Ticket pricing is available here.
Unfortunately, there will be no pre-season members-only scrimmage this season. Due to NSW Health requirements and NBL COVID safe procedures we are not able to provide a venue at which a members-only scrimmage could take place. It is our intention to bring this back in future seasons.
Given strict crowd limits for the upcoming season, the Kings recommend any fans wishing to attend games this season purchase a membership. We are unable to guarantee that general public tickets will be made available for this game or other games during the season.
If you haven’t already grabbed a membership, now is the perfect time to and you can do so here.
