Buford expects to face vastly different United outfit

Although his Sydney Kings easily accounted for Melbourne United two weeks ago, coach Chase Buford knows that will mean little come Sunday afternoon at John Cain Arena.
The NBL22 championship-winning coach expects a vastly improved United side in round four.
“Sunday should be another good game and my guess is there won’t be a lot of space in the middle of the floor like last time,” Buford said.

“Just like them, we’ll make our own adjustments to give us the best chance of victory.”
Like the Kings, who come into the fixture on the back of a loss to Adelaide, United will be out to avoid two straight defeats, after going down to Cairns earlier this round.
“As a player, the only way you can control your fate is who you respond when given a second opportunity so closely after a loss - like we do this Sunday,” Kings guard Derrick Walton said.

“It’s about learning from the mistakes you made - all losses are personal and I expect our whole team to come ready against United.”
The game, which tips offs at 4pm AEDT, will give the Hoops Capital side a chance to extend its NBL away win record to 16 games.
