On the back of his first season with the Kings, young gun Klairus Amir has decided to stay in Sydney during the NBL1 season - recently signing on to play with the Sutherland Sharks.
Amir, who was a development player for the Hoops Capital club in NBL24, will add plenty to last season's East champions in 2024, ahead of his second season with the purple and gold.

“Klairus is a young exciting, athletic, wing/forward that complements our style of play really well," Sharks general manager Adrian Dark said.
"He’s great in transition, he shoots the ball extremely well and he is a long athletic defender.
"It’s a wonderful addition to our team and I’m ecstatic that he came to our club and NBL1 program.”
Amir, whose Sharks will open their season on Saturday, April 6 against Penrith, is one of the numerous Kings that will be lining up around the country in the NBL1 competition, alongside Kouat Noi, Makuach Maluach (both Darwin), Shaun Bruce (Logan), Jackson Makoi (Northside), Angus Glover (Eltham) and Isaac Gattorna (Warwick).
