Massive crowd looms for game three of Championship Series

Kings fans, get ready, the curtains at Qudos Bank Arena are set to come down for the first time this season on Friday.
With more than 13,000 tickets already sold, Sydney is expecting its biggest crowd of the season when they host the New Zealand Breakers in game three of the NBL23 Championships Grand Final Series.
With the series locked up at 1-all, after Sunday's courageous road win by the Kings, ticket sales to the pivotal third game have been selling fast - with the Hoops Capital club on track to have more than the NBL23 record crowd of 14, 232 (when the Kings took on the Breakers on January 22) in the house on Friday.

A big part of that is also the fact it could be the Kings, and Washington Wizards bound Xavier Cooks' last game in Sydney.
"We've been blown away by the response from our loyal members and fans for game three, with everything pointing towards our biggest crowd of the season," Hoops Capital CEO Sean Nicholls said.
"Our attendance numbers this year have been unprecedented and it's great that trend has continued to rise in our Championships Series.

"Especially as this could be the last time Kings' supporters get to watch their team in person this season - not to mention possibly the last-ever time we get to watch fan favourite Xavier in the purple and gold at Qudos Bank Arena.
