After weeks of a gruelling pre-season on the court, the Sydney Kings will get their first chance to test themselves this Friday against the New Zealand Breakers.
The pre-season game, which will tip-off at 7.30pm AEST at Quaycentre, presents Brian Goorjian and his revamped squad their first opportunity to impress the Kings faithful.
Coach Goorjian is pumped for his team to play their first match of the NBL25, especially in front of the Kings' loyal fans and supporters.

"We've been going at each other for a couple of weeks now, so it'll be good to assess exactly where we are at against a strong opposition like New Zealand," Goorjian said.
"With all the new players and coaches we have here, it's gotten to the point where we need a hit-out against someone that isn't ourselves, which we're all super excited for - especially the younger guys, who will be playing their first games in the NBL.
"From my perspective, getting a handful of pre-season games under our belt before this thing tips off is vital for us, as it gives a chance to establish what is and isn't working as we had hoped.
"[Further to that] it'll be great to play in front of our fans for the first time this season.
"Myself and the team have witnessed how strong the Kings brand is at the moment during our tour of Newcastle and walking around the streets of Sydney and we're all pumped to put on a good performance for our fans on Friday."
