Bruce returns to Thunder for 2024 NBL1 season

Fresh off signing a new two-year extension with the Sydney Kings, the two-time NBL champion has announced he will be returning to the Logan Thunder for the 2024 NBL1 North season.

During the 2023 season, Bruce was named to the NBL1 North Second Team, thanks to averages of 16.11 points, 8.39 assists and six rebounds per contest.

This upcoming campaign will mark the 33-year-old's third with the Queensland franchise, who finished with a 15-4 record in 2023 - a tall.ying which Bruce hopes the side can better this campaign.

“I’m excited to be coming back to Queensland for the NBL1 season," said Bruce to Thunder Media.

"I’ve enjoyed representing the Thunder over the past couple of years and looking forward to competing and bringing some wins to the Logan community again.”

Bruce joins Chris Cedar, Isaiah Lee, Tom Howard, Callum Dalton, Zac Triplett, Tyrone Fui, Jermaine Fui, Reegan Trego and Elijah Puna on the Thunder's roster for this season - which tips off on Thursday, April 11 against North Gold Coast at the Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre.
